Judge the Works, Not the Person

"Righteously judge the works of a person, of which, the judgment that is in line with
the Lord's truth of what is good. Never judge the person."

This is the basis of all judging. That a person is not judged because of what he/she has done in the past, this is prejudice. He/she is judged for what they think, chose, and do at that time.

This means to judge their works, and to do so in righteousness. This type of judgment must use spiritual discernment in order to be able to discern the spirit of what someone thinks, chooses and does. It is the spiritual nature that depicts the truth, it is never by outward appearances, that are carnal, temporal or sensual. To spiritually discern the works of another requires the knowledge and wisdom of God, which is only taught through the Lord's Spirit.

There is no other way.

For a person to think they have gained knowledge and wisdom by just reading the scriptures, fails to see that such an act gains only but superficial knowledge of God which has no experience. True knowledge and wisdom depicts experience, which is to live and experience the gospel. This experience called the"life of the word", is not determined by our hand, but the hand of God who knows all. God brings the needed experiences of truth, which is only by his hand, through his process of teaching, training and preparation through his quickening spirit. No one can rightly discern the experience of another without the same experience themselves. Only by this, can righteous discernment and judgment be done.

God has said he will "judge our works", which is how he judges. God, the Father created all of us and what he created is good. Yet, how do people fall into the eternal damnation? They do so by their works, which is judged in spirit and in truth, God does not judge, who each of us were at birth.

Would you judge a new born? Nay, a new born is innocent, yea even if the new born is of a criminal mother. It is later, when the new born learns the thoughts and beliefs of the wicked, that brings him/her grief.

Notice that the works are manifestations of thoughts, beliefs and choices. This precept is the basis of the precepts spoken by Jesus as, What defiles you comes from within" and "looking at a women with lust has committed adultery in his heart".

Therefore, Judge ye not the person, for the Father is without respect of persons, judge ye of their works, by spiritual discernment born of truth, spirit, love and righteousness.
